Mode of action
Pendimethalin’s mode of action is that it is an inhibitor of plant cell division and cell elongation. This means that it prevents the roots and shoots of the target weed from growing. With the weed unable to develop further, it eventually dies.
Pendimethalin belong dinitroaniline class.

Corn, soya, sunflower – Against annual narrow-leaf (monocotyledonous) and broad-leaf (dicotyledonous) weeds, after sowing and before sprouting of crop and weeds, in rate 3-6 l/ha.
Wheat – Against annual narrow-leaf (monocotyledonous) and broad-leaf (dicotyledonous) weeds, after sowing and before sprouting of crop and weeds, in rate 3-6 l/ha
Tomato, pepper, cabbage, tobacco – Against annual narrow-leaf (monocotyledonous) and broad-leaf (dicotyledonous) weeds, by treating the soil before the planting, in rate 3-6 l/ha.
Potato, onion, garlic – Against annual narrow-leaf (monocotyledonous) and broad-leaf (dicotyledonous) weeds, after sowing and before sprouting of crop and weeds, in rate 3-6 l/ha.
Parsley, coriander – Against annual narrow-leaf (monocotyledonous) and broad-leaf (dicotyledonous) weeds, after sowing and before sprouting of crop and weeds, in rate 3 l/ha.
Spectrum of activity
Excellent efficiency: Echinochloa crus-galli, Setaria glauca, Amaranthus retroflexus, A. hybridus, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Chenopodium album, Portulaca oleracea, Ranunculus arvensis, Stachys annua, Veronica hederifolia
Satisfactory efficiency: Hibiscus trionum, Matricaria chamomilla, Polygonum persicaria, Sonchus oleraceus, Stellaria media.
