Protective, contact multi-site fungicide for controlling of downy mildew

Active ingredient: Copper calcium sulfate 200 g/kg

Formulation: wettable powder WP

Copper calcium sulfate 20% WP is used as a protective fungicide for foliage applications, the freshly prepared precipitate having a high tenacity. Its use is limited to crop plants at stages of growth when its phytotoxicity is low. Major uses include the control of Phytophthora infestans on potatoes, and Venturia inaequalis on apples, Plasmopara viticola on grapes.

Application

• – Peach and other stone fruits trees, against moniliosis (Monilia laxa, M. fructigena), shothole (Coryneum beijerinckii), leaf curl (Taphrina deformans, Taphrina spp.) and bacteriosis (Pseudomonas syringae), in a dose 6 – 7,2 kg/ha

• – Pome fruits trees, against scab (Venturia inaequalis, V. pyri), moniliosis (Monilia laxa, M. fructigena), bacteriosis (Pseudomonas

syringae), in a dose 7-15 kg/ha.

– Citrus trees, against brown rot/mildew (Phytophthora citrophora, Phytophthora spp.), Phomopsis stem-end rot (Phomopsis citri), bacteriosis (Pseudomonas syringae) and other endophytous fungi, in a dose 5 – 20 kg/ha.

• – Tomato and eggplant, against alternariose/early blight (Alternaria spp.), anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.), bacteriosis (Pseudomonas spp., Xanthomonas campestris) and mildew/late blight (Phytophthora infestans, Phytophthora spp., Peronospora spp.), in a dose 4 – 6 kg/ha.
• – Cucumber and other cucurbits, against alternariose/early blight (Altenaria spp.), anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.), mildew/late blight (Phytophthora spp., Peronospora spp.), bacteriosis, in a dose 2,4-6 kg/ha.
• – Grape, against downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) and bacterial blight (Xanthomonas ampelina), in a dose 7-10 kg/ha.
• – Potato, against alternariose (Alternaria spp.) and late blight/mildew (Phytophthora infestans), in a dose 2,4-6 kg/ha.

Waiting period (pre harvest period in days): tomato, eggplant 3 days, field crops 10 days, pome fruits, stone fruits not applicable.

Note

• – Apply at the early stage of disease.

• – Do not mix with strong acid and strong alkaline.

• – Re-entry: DO NOT enter into treated areas until the area has dried.
