Mode of action
Tefluthrin is a synthetic pyrethroids (the newest group of generation III pyrethroids). As such, tefluthrin interfere with the sodium transport in insect nerve cells and that leads to a feeding stop and paralysation of the target pests.
Wireworms (Agriotes spp.) Maybug (Melolontha melolontha)
Application:
Application of insecticides to the soil should be done together with sowing or planting of cultivated plants. Maize, sweet corn: against wireworms (Agriotes spp.) in a dose 12 kg/ha, (Diabrotica virgifera virgifera) in a dose 15 kg/ha
Sunflower, sugar beet: against cockchafer larvae (Melolontha melolontha) in a dose 10 kg/ha.
Potato, carrot: against wireworms (Agriotes spp.) in a dose 12-15 kg/ha
Onion, lettuce, beans, zucchini, melon, watermelon, tomato: against cockchafer larvae (Melolontha melolontha) in a dose 10 kg/ha.
Nurseries crops established by seedlings, cuttings and grafted plants (field): against wireworms (Agriotes spp.) and cockchafer larvae (Melolontha melolontha) in a dose 15 kg/ha
