Mode of action:

Sonuma 480 SC is a selective contact acaricide for control harmful mites on numerous plant species grown outdoors in the field and in a protected area. Effectively suppresses all stages of mites (eggs, larvae, nymphs,

imago). Bifenazate is an active substance from the group carbamate. It acts as an inhibitor of mitochondrial transport of electrons on complex III. It is characterized by fast action on juvenile and adult stages of mites. It has a long-term residual

action and maintains high efficiency regardless of temperature and humidity. Sonuma 480 SC has a contact action so it is for effective operation it is necessary to provide good coverage

plant surfaces (both faces and backs of leaves).

Duration of protective effect in generally 3-4 weeks.

Application:

Bifenazate containing products are used in agricultural and ornamental crops as foliar sprays for the control of mites in a range of crops such as currants, berries, strawberry, pome fruit, citrus fruit, fruiting vegetables (tomatoes,

peppers, aubergines, cucumbers, courgettes, melons, watermelons), hops, cut flowers (e.g.roses, gerberas, chrysanthemum), perennial ornamentals and nursery plants.

Apple

Against European red spider (panonychus ulmi) larvae, nymph and adult, in rate 100 ml/100 lit of water.

Orange

Against citrus red weevil (panonychus citri) egg, larvae, nymph and adult, in rate 40 ml/100 lit of water.

Watermelon

Against cotton red spider (Tetranychus cinnabarinus), two point red spider (Tetranychus urticae), larvae, nymph, adult, in rate 200 ml/ha

Selectivity

SONUMA 480 SC is a selective acaricide for the control of red spider mites.

SONUMA 480 SC provides a long-lasting, long-lasting effect by acting on all stages of red spider mites in Apples and Watermelon (except egg stage), Oranges and Cotton. It disrupts the nervous system of the red spiders and causes hyperactivity (constant fast movement). The feeding of red spiders that come into contact with the drug stops within 3 hours. Deaths begin to occur on the 3rd, 4th day. It is recommended to apply no more than once during a production season.
