Difenoconazole is a broad-spectrum fungicide that controls a wide variety of fungi \u2013 including members of the Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes families. It acts as a seed treatment, foliar spray and systemic fungicide. It is taken up through the surface of the infected plant and is translocated to all parts of the plant. It has a curative effect and a preventative effect. The mode of action of difenoconazole is that it is a sterol demethylation inhibitor which prevents the development of the fungus by inhibiting cell membrane ergosterol biosynthesis. It moves translaminarly, which allows it to be evenly distributed within the plant shortly after treatment. It is applied preventively and in early post-infection treatments, after the germination of the fungus on the plant surface, when it stops the infection. Difenoconazole has the longest period of curative application (up to 72 h after infection) of all triazoles.<\/p>\n
Application:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
Apple, pear (pome fruit) <\/b>\u2013 against scab <\/b>(Venturia spp.)<\/i>, powdery mildew <\/b>(Podosphaera spp.)<\/i>, in a dose <\/b>0,225 l\/ha (0,075 l\/ha\/m crown height), with application from the start of flowering until approximately 10% unfolded leaves (BBCH 61) in block spraying with intervals 5-10 days.<\/p>\n
Carrot <\/b>\u2013 against powdery mildew <\/b>(Erysiphe heracleid)<\/i> <\/b>, carrot leaf blight <\/b>(Alternaria dauci)<\/i>, in a dose 0,4 l\/ <\/b>ha, with application from when the roots beginning to expand (diameter > 0,5 cm) (BBCH 41) to fruits have reached typical size (BBCH 79), with two applications in intervals 7-14 days.<\/p>\n
Celery <\/b>\u2013 against black blight <\/b>(Septoria apiicola)<\/i>, in a dose 0,4 l\/ha, with application when 3rd leaf unfolded <\/b>(BBCH 13) with one treatment.<\/p>\n
Sugarbeet <\/b>\u2013 against cercospora leaf spot of beets <\/b>(Cercospora beticola)<\/i> <\/b>, in a dose 0,4 l\/ha, with application <\/b>when crop cover complete: leaves cover 90% of ground (BBCH 39) to beet root has reached harvestable size (BBCH 49), 2 treatments in intervals 10-28 days.<\/p>\n
Asparagus <\/b>\u2013 against leaf spot <\/b>(Stemphylium botryosum)<\/i>, in a dose 0,4 l\/ha, after harvest in one application.<\/p>\n

Mixing: <\/b>It can be mixed with most preventive fungicides and insecticides, with a previous compatibility <\/b>check. It must not be mixed with acid reaction insecticides (dimethoate).<\/p>\n
