It is a selective and systemic post emergence phenoxy herbicide, used against annual and perennial grass weeds in broad-leaved crops.<\/p>\n
He inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase and prevents synthesis of fatty acids.<\/p>\n
Quizalofop-P-ethyl has a high selectivity between grass weeds and dicotyledons crop. It is absorbed in a few hours by stem and leaf and conducted to the whole body of annual weeds in 24 hours, mainly acumulating in the top organs and meristem. Treated weeds acquire a red color, after which they necrotize and dry up.<\/p>\n
Leaves of annual weeds will start yellow 2-3 days after application. Stem and leaf are necrotized in 4-7 days. The whole-body withers and dies in 10-14 days.<\/p>\n
