Mode of action:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
Metiram belongs to the group of fungicides known as the ethylene-bis-dithiocarbamates (dithiocarbamates).<\/p>\n
They are considered to have a multi-site, non-specific mode of action that disrupts many of the essential processes within the fungal cell. These effects of metiram lead to a strong inhibition of fungal spores.<\/p>\n
Application:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
Grape <\/b>\u2013 against downy mildew <\/b>(Plasmopara viticola)<\/i>, black <\/b>spots (Phomopsis viticola)<\/i>, in a dose of 1,5-2,5 kg\/ha, before achieving the conditions for secondary infections.<\/p>\n
Apple, pear <\/b>\u2013 against scab <\/b>(Venturia spp.)<\/i>, in a dose of 1,5-2,5 kg\/ <\/b>ha, by applying when favorable conditions for infection appear. A maximum of 3 treatments are allowed in the vegetation at intervals of 7-10 days, depending on the weather conditions and the intensity of the infection.<\/p>\n
Tomato <\/b>\u2013 against downy mildew <\/b>(Phytophtora infestans)<\/i> <\/b>and <\/b>brown leaf spots (Alernaria solani)<\/i>, in a dose of 1,5-2,5 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n
Cucumber <\/b>\u2013 against downy mildew <\/b>(Psedoperonospora cubensis)<\/i>, in a dose of 1,5-2 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n
Potato <\/b>\u2013 against downy mildew <\/b>(Phytophtora infestans)<\/i> <\/b>and brown leaf spots <\/b>(Alernaria solani)<\/i>, in a dose <\/b>of 1,5-2,5 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n
Onion <\/b>– against downy mildew <\/b>(Peronospora destructor)<\/i>, in a dose of 1,9 \u2013 2,4 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n
Citrus <\/b>\u2013 in a dose of 2-2,5 kg\/ha<\/p>\n
Other crops: <\/b>mulberry (seedlings) in a dose of 0,4-0,6 kg\/ha, mulberry (planting) in a dose of 1,2-2 kg\/ha, <\/b>sugar beet in a dose of 2,4-3,2 kg\/ha, rose ether-bearing in a dose of 3,2 kg\/ha, tobacco in a dose of 2,4-3,3 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n
Mixing:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
It mixes well with other plant protection preparations except acid insecticides (dichlorvos, dimethoate) and oil preparations.<\/p>\n
