Orvego® is a fungicide for the most difficult conditions and for the highest pressure of downy mildew during the growing season

Mode of action:
Systemic foliar fungicide with protective, curative and antisporulative action.
Orvego is a fungicide of exceptional strength, designed to combat the fungi that cause downy mildew (Phytophtora infestans and Pseudoperonospora cubensis) in the most difficult conditions. It should be applied when the conditions for the development of
the disease are optimal – alternation of rainy and sunny periods, moderate temperatures, high relative humidity. The product should be applied preventively, in order to reduce the risk of resistance, but when this is not possible and the development of the disease should be prevented in emerging, owning such a weapon means salvation for the manufacturer.
Application:
- * In the European Union, this product is registered for the following crops:
Grape (wine and table): against downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 200 – 1200 l / ha. The product is applied from the beginning of the formation of the flower to the stage of patterning of the berries (BBCH 53-83).
A maximum of 3 applications are allowed during the growing season, with an interval between applications of 10-14 days.
Potato – against downy mildew (Phytophtora infestans) in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 100 – 1000 l / ha. The product is applied preventively in the period when the conditions for the development of the disease occur, from the beginning of the formation of side shoots until the end of physiological ripening (BBCH 20-89).
A maximum of 3 applications during the growing season are allowed, with an interval between applications of 5-10 days.
Tomato (open field and greenhouse) – against downy mildew (Phytophtora infestans) in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 200 – 1000 l / ha. The product is applied preventively in the period when the conditions for the development of the disease occur, from the stage of fully developed cotyledons to the stage of full ripening (BBCH 10-89).
A maximum of 3 applications during the growing season are allowed, with an interval between applications of 7-10 days.
Salads (open field and greenhouse) – against downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 200 – 1000 l / ha. The product is applied preventively in the period when the conditions for the development of the disease occur, from the beginning of the formation of heads to the stage of the characteristic size, shape and firmness of the heads (BBCH 40-49) in open space, that is, from

the stage of 9 developed leaves to the stage of characteristic size, shape and firmness of the heads (BBCH 19-49) in a protected space.
A maximum of 2 applications are allowed during the growing season, with an interval between applications of 7-10 days.
Cucumber and zucchini (open field and greenhouse) – against downy mildew in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 200 – 1000 l / ha. The product is applied preventively in the period when the conditions for the development of the disease occur, from the development of lateral shoots to full ripening (BBCH 40-89) outdoors, or from the appearance of lateral shoots to full ripening (BBCH 20-89) in a protected area.
A maximum of 2 applications are allowed during the growing season, with an interval between applications of 7-10 days.
Melons (outdoors) – against downy mildew in a dose of 0.8 l / ha, with a water consumption of 200 – 1000 l / ha. The product is applied preventively in the period when the conditions for the development of the disease occur, from the development of side shoots to full ripening (BBCH 40-89).
A maximum of 2 applications are allowed during the growing season, with an interval between applications of 7-10 days.
Application of Orvego® fungicide in general:
- – It is applied in optimal conditions for the development of the disease: alternation of rainy and sunny periods, moderate temperatures, high air humidity
- – It is difficult to wash off in the rain (after one hour of application there is no danger of it being washed away)
- – Extremely powerful in preventing the development of nascent diseases
- – For protection against downy mildew of vines, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers, use 0.8 l/ha
- – In case of strong disease pressure, heavy rain or accelerated plant growth, a shorter interval between treatments should be observed.
Application advantages:
- – due to its local-systemic action, it also reliably protects the back of the leaf binds to the waxy layer of the cuticle
- – excellent resistance to rain washing
- – under the influence of dew drops, the effectiveness of the preparation is further improved and the treated area increases

- – short waiting period in potatoes and vegetables
Mixing:
There are no restrictions, but it is always a general recommendation that any mixing with other preparations should be checked first on a small part of the crop/plot, to be sure.
Waiting period (preharvest period in days): 3 days for tomato, cucumber, zucchini and melon;
7 days for potatoes, lettuce, chard, boletus, arugula, red mustard, leaves and saplings of Brassica species,
35 days for vines (table and wine varieties).
